Wildflower 10K in Fredericksburg

Today we had a BLAST!! Our dear neighbors and friends and us have been training for this 10K the last 2 months and today we ran it! We had a great time running through the cute neighborhoods, talking and laughing (yes, maybe we could have run faster), but we had so much fun! We then ate yummy, very deserving food in the cute town of Fredericksburg. Elli did great and slept the entire race in the stroller...good thing because her daddy is an over achiever and ran crazy fast with Anthony and then ran a few more miles on top of that to meet to us girls. Elli's Favorite Things (as of 17 1/2 months old)

Elli is her mom's daughter...she loves loves loves tea parties! So whether with mom or dad or friends, she is getting good at them. Her doll is actually her favorite thing, though. Everything is acted out through dolly. When it's time to blow Elli's nose, Elli runs to the bathroom, grabs a kleenex/t.p. and wipes dolly's nose then her own. Dolly gets timeouts on the mat after she gets in trouble, and changing dolly's diaper kept her totally entertained when I got our oil changed at a non-kid friendly service shop. Now that she is 17 (months) she did get some new wheels, and all day I hear, "car, car, car". The last pic shows her wild hair in the morning, too! She is such a joy and we absolutely love watching her learn and explore and say new things!

On Wednesday we got to hang out with Landon and Leann at the wonderful Landa park. What a fun day!

Congrats, Paul

Last week Paul hit his 20 year military anniversary! We celebrated all week with neighbors, his work and then Maggie babysat while we ate at the Riverwalk. I love celebration weeks...I am so proud of you, Paul.

Easter Pics

Elliana was adorable this Easter due to Mia Warren with fancy jacket and all! But shortly after, Elli got fever and couldn't join in on the neighborhood Easter party. Grandpa and Grandma Yutzy sent her a cute outfit and "bath baby". It was a great idea of grandma's to get a doll for the bath because Elli HATES bathtime, but since she can wash dolly's hair, bath time is getting a little better.

Pre-Easter at Goliad

On Saturday, Leann invited us to Goliad to celebrate Easter with her family on their ranch. We had such a blast as it was a true Texas Easter with smoked bbq fajitas, a fishing contest and a pinata! We were pretty proud of our nephew, Landon, because he was the big winner of that fishing contest, too! Loved these photos of Landon "getting down" with his homey beads.
