Saddle up your horses we've got a trail to blaze
Through the wild blue yonder of God's amazing grace
Let's follow our leader into the glorious unknown
This is a life like no other-this is the Great Adventure

We went to KS this weekend to celebrate Baby Banz and had a shower for Julia. It was great hanging out with Julia and all of her friends/relatives as we excitedly await the arrival of this little one! On Sunday we headed to Wichita for a day with Mike, Tina and fam. It's fun to see cousins interact more and more. Abby and Elliana spent the day together with Abby being a natural mommy to her. It gets harder and harder to leave Kansas.
Thought I would post some random pics of Houge times. Mom and Dad were out this weekend, but I didn't have my camera, so no pics, bummer. We, as always, had a wonderful time shopping and attending my cousin's wedding. Elli had her second chance at the Brown Palace and did pretty good. I don't think, though, we have to worry about her wanting a reception at the Brown Palace any time soon. At the same time, Paul flew to New York City for a friend's wedding. The first pic is of Prakash and Sajini's wedding in NYC. I had to put a pic of Elliana's rolls I have to clean:) She is not into the jump swing yet, as well as it's hard to fit her cheeks into her hat nowadays! The last pic is of her friend, Finn, wanting to talk to her. She is so fun to be with daily, some days we marvel that we get to be parents to her.
We are loving the weather lately! Rafa came over last weekend so we could celebrate his birthday and then Brian and Erica and their boy, Sterling, came over for a nice long walk in this beautiful weather! I had to take pics of our early spring flowers that didn't get the memo that it is still March!
So we have been too busy having fun, to update our blog lately, so here goes...Sunday we took off for the mountains and spent some extremely fun days with Jer, Kim and Aran. We went on hikes, Jer and Paul went downhill skiing. Then Kim and I went cross country skiing. Kim and Jeremy introduced sledding to Aran, which he loved and yesterday morning I snuck away while Elli was sleeping and got downhill skiing in. It was a perfect week to go up, because there was hardly anyone up there and I got to make new tracks on the ski trails...what a dream! Jeremy would make a yummy breakfast and it would be waiting for us when we woke up...life is good! We had such a packed fun filled time with the Balzers!
