It is Elliana's 2 week birthday and we decided to take pics
of her sporting her "lil' miss october" shirt from Aunt Leann! She barely made it under the wire to keep her title as miss october. As you can see from the cute giraffe from Joni, that she is one tall girl at 22 inches. She is holding her own in the 90th percentile with her weight as well at 9 lbs 8 oz yesterday. She is still so fun, though testing us a little now. She loves the idea of being held to sleep and we are not into that, so the challenge begins. She's so cute...can we hold out?

Yeah for Lil' Miss October. She is just sooo cute. So glad the shirt fit...I was a little worried when she came out at 9 lbs!! Good luck on the sleeping thing, Landon's favorite place to sleep was in my arms or across Brian's chest for a long time. But hey...they say they cannot be spoiled for the first 6 months! All I can say is that I feel your pain!!!

We are so happy for you to be born to such loving parents. You are truly blessed.
You're a little cutie and you know? You look like both your mom and you dad. I have looked at the photos and looked at the photos and finally said, "Well it's a toss up. You resemble both parents." Lucky you.
I hope you will be good to your mommy and daddy through the years, because I know they will love you so much and take very good care of you.

It makes me so happy to see the giraffe being put to good use! Are you going to measure her monthly? Its a good tradition to start....I can see it now, making her stand by the giraffe when she turns 16! Ha! She's so cute and fun...love it.
we feel your pain too...we just got gavin to sleep all night in his crib a few weeks ago, but sometimes we cave and he sleeps in the swing. whatever works! :)
